Many people who hear the word warts would directly think of a person with little or no concern of health and cleanliness. “Warts” is closely associated with dirt and infection. This is the most common reason why some people do not seek medical help but rather choose to find self home remedies all by themselves. Plantars warts, genital warts, common warts, and flat warts are the most common types of warts that people may get infected with. But there are at least fifty plus more types of HPV infections identified.
Plantars warts may not be life threatening but are highly contagious. These warts may cause physical discomfort around the infected area and worse, on exposed and pronounced areas of the skin like on the face, hands, penis or vagina, chest and any other parts of the body that is clearly noticeable. People with plantars warts often keep these infected areas concealed and isolate themselves from the crowd to avoid or fear to face humiliation.
There was once a friend who shared his plantars warts sentiments to me and sought a solution. I'd like to share his story as you might be able relate it yourself.
John (not his real name) had a crush on our chess team mate Zara (again not her real name). Having plantars wart wasn't really a big deal for John – it's under his feet and Zara won't notice it anyway. So they became real close friends and began having some dates. Two weeks after, our team joined a local chess tourney and won as the champ then our coach decided that we will celebrating our victory in the beach. John didn't mention anything about his warts.
Late in the afternoon as we were about to go home, I heard John swearing all the way as we were walking and away from Zara. He eventually told me that Zara got disinterested and wanted to keep him away from her. It was a terrible blow for John and he blamed everything to his plantars wart. In whatever circumstances might have happened that made Zara noticed John's plantars wart is not our concern but rather how Zara reacted. I guess she's the type of girl who sees John unpleasant because of his warts.
That is a real sad story caused by tiny plantars wart. It may not happen exactly the same as John's but there might be instances that you might feel so bad because of your plantars warts. A job interview turn down, a sexual rejection, failed business venture, losing of friends, and many other things. Don't let plantars wart ruin your endeavors and opportunities. There are lots of treatments available online for you to choose from, but please consider if it is really effective and of course health safety if you will be trying to get rid of your plantars warts by yourself.
